Emergency Medicine health workers will embark on medical outreach to train staff of some institution in Basic Life Support and AED training in order to help them obtain the skill to administer first aid support in times of emergencies.

We are happy to be invited to your institution to offer some training. The team has already identified areas that will benefit from our training. These include but not limited to Governmental institutions and facilities such as Jubilee House, Parliament House and all local assemblies.
Other include mining and production companies, banks, various gyms and workout institutions.

One main target will be the Traders and workers at the Suame Magazine who will be trained in various emergency situations such as First Aid Management, Stop the Bleed. A mini-clinic will be set up that day to screen people at the magazine for various health conditions.
The outreach team will seek to train the general public in managing household emergencies under the theme ‘Household injuries and how to manage them’. The public will be trained in some basic household injuries and emergency situations and how they should go about managing the situation in order to reduce the risk and help save lives.

Certificates/Plagues will be given to these institutions to certify that they have some level of training in basic emergency care

The Emergency Medicine Society of Ghana is a collaborative of Emergency Physicians, Emergency Nurses and Emergency Medical Technicians in Ghana.
